NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio Endorses State Legislative Candidates
Cleveland, OH - NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, the state's leading advocate for personal privacy and a woman's right to choose, announced support for 12 pro-choice candidates in nine primary elections. "We are proud to put our support behind this outstanding slate of pro-choice candidates," Kellie Copeland, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio said. "Our goals for 2010 are clear: We will do all we can to protect the tremendous gains we made in the 2006 and 2008 election cycles and find opportunities to elect pro-choice candidates that will help us enact the Ohio Prevention First Act while beating back the repeated draconian attacks on the reproductive health care of Ohio women. NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio has made endorsements in a few races where there is more than one pro-choice candidate.
