Town Hall Meeting to Discuss Preventing Unintended Pregnancy and Reducing the Need for Abortion
Cincinnati, OH – Kellie Copeland, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio will join State Representative Tyrone Yates and Dr. Michael Thomas to discuss the Ohio Prevention First Act on Tuesday, September 26 starting at 6:00 pm located in the first floor Community Room of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati at 3458 Reading Road in Cincinnati. “The Prevention First Act focuses on sensible, effective ways to prevent unintended pregnancies, instead of divisive attacks on women’s freedom, such as the abortion ban Ohio now faces,” said Kellie Copeland. “I hope all Cincinnatians will take this opportunity to speak with Rep. Yates and the other experts at this town hall meeting about this commonsense legislation. Ohioans from all walks of life want their elected officials to focus on ways to prevent unintended pregnancies and reduce the need for abortion.” Who: State Representative Tyrone Yates, Dr. Michael Thomas, Univ. of Cincinnati Contraceptive Research Program, Kellie Copeland, Executive Director NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio.
