Springfield Hospital Merger Could End Access to Reproductive Health Care
The Clark Countians for Choice, a chapter of NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, have long been fighting to ensure that reproductive health care services are protected if Mercy Medical Center and Community Hospital merge. No hospital merger should result in denying needed medical services within a community. If this merger goes through without a provision to keep providing these services, families in Springfield may be forced to travel to Dayton or Columbus to get the health care they need.
