Abortion bill at ohio statehouse
If enacted, HB 239 would impose bans on the use of public funds, employees, and facilities for abortions--except when necessary to save the life of the pregnant woman. This bill is especially objectionable because its public funding prohibitions do not contain exceptions to protect women’s health or for victims of rape or incest.
