On Wednesday October 28, 2009 Representative Dan Stewart (D-Columbus) re-introduced the Compassionate Assistance for Rape Emergencies (CARE) Act (HB 333) in the Ohio House. This is the third time that the bill has been introduced, and because of the change in leadership we are hopeful that the bill will get real hearings and a floor vote in the Ohio House this year. Rep. Stewart had a press conference to announce the introduction of the bill and was joined by Sondra Miller from the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.
