The Ohio Prevention First Act is designed to provide a variety of services and programs to the citizens of Ohio so that they can prevent unintended pregnancy. These programs include teen pregnancy prevention, comprehensive sex-education, incraesed funding for family planning programs, and emergency contraception education program and requirements that insurance companies provide equal coverage for prescription contraceptives.

The Ohio Prevention First Act will require schools to teach abstinence based comprehensive sex education so our students know how to protect themselves from sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy.
