NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio Delivers 2,100 postcards and nearly 1,000 online petition signatures to the Ohio House Health Committee! On Wednesday November 12th NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio volunteers delivered 2,100 postcards and nearly 1000 petition signatures from our on-line petition to the office of Representative Lynn Wachtmann, the chair of the Ohio House Health Committee demanding fair hearings on the Ohio Prevention First Act. Along with these petitions and postcards we also delivered 450 hourglass timers, each representing 13,000 Ohio women who are waiting for this bill to pass. Within hours of our delivery we learned that the bill is actually scheduled for sponsor testimony next week on Wednesday November 19th! This is the FIRST hearing that this bill has gotten in the House since its introduction more than three years ago. This great victory would not have been possible without our amazing grassroots activists around the state. More than 120 volunteers and postcard captains helped us collect the postcards and hundreds more participated in the campaign on-line.
