Tell Governor Taft to Veto
Slightly after 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 9, the Ohio Legislature passed Senate Bill 156, a highway renaming bill that was amended to include a provision creating "Choose Life" license plates that would set up a state-funding mechanism for fake clinics. The Ohio House and Senate approved this bill without allowing amendments to be introduced or debate to occur on the floor of the Ohio House. Make sure Governor Taft knows that we will not allow the Legislature to go behind our backs and pass dangerous legislation in the middle of the night. Click here to take action today!
